Spotify starts working in Russia, 12 other countries on Wednesday
MOSCOW, Jul 15 (PRIME) -- Swedish music streaming and media services provider Spotify started working in Russia and 12 other countries, including Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine, on Wednesday, the company said late on Tuesday in a statement.
Russian users said in social networks on Tuesday that Spotify became available in the country for downloading in AppStore and Google Play.
Spotify said that access to a full package of services costs 169 rubles a month. Tariff Spotify Premium for up to six people costs 269 rubles. There is also a tariff for two for 219 rubles a month. Spotify Premium for students costs 85 rubles.
A free version is available with advertisements.
In Russia, Spotify offers exclusive functions, including personal recommendations and search of new music of foreign and local performers, among others.
